During the hour-long set, the 23-year-old triple threat turned our venue into a full-blown karaoke room by getting the entire audience to sing along with her. Think about it. Who knows Tinashe's catalogue better than some of her die-hard fans? And let's make it clear, they were all in attendance.
From the opening number ("Ride Of Your Life") to fan favorites like ("Cold Sweat," "Boss"), the current OOB Magazine cover girl made everyone forget that we had just kicked off the work week with singles like "2 On" and "Player." Sprinkle in some other Aquarius cuts like "Cold Sweat" and "How Many Times" along with some brand-new material from her latest album session like "Energy" and you had a show that covered the early mixtape Tinashe era up until her most recent.
Tinashe also spoke with Z100's Maxwell for a special Q&A segment of the hour, where the pint-sized pop star dished on the slow but steady process it's been to make her sophomore effort just that perfect. "I've been working on this album for a while now ... Joyride," she told the personality. "I've been really putting in a lot of work and I took a second to go into my zone and make a couple more songs and just really revamp and really focus on the music."
Thanks to the folks over at Degree, iHeartRadio Move With The Music also tracked the movement (and applause) of the crowd with some handy wristbands. Gotta love the power of technology. As for the singer, well, we've told you time and time and time again, but let us reiterate. Tinashe's blows up.
